🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join and lead the product engineering team for our flagship consumer app at Dashverse. This role is ideal for someone who’s not just a strong engineer, but also deeply passionate about consumer experiences, product thinking, and hands-on team leadership.

You will own major product initiatives end-to-end—from figuring out what to build, to how we build it, to how we know it’s working. Think of this as being a co-founder for the product, from the engineering side.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and global content distribution.

🧠 What You'll Do

🧭 Product-Led Engineering

  • Own product outcomes, not just features or components.
  • Work with product, design, growth, and content teams to shape and ship meaningful product experiences.
  • Align engineering direction with the company’s mission of democratizing visual storytelling.

đŸ§± Engineering Leadership

  • Lead a small, high-caliber team of engineers—mentoring, unblocking, and scaling them as needed.
  • Drive architectural decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.
  • Keep a strong bar for performance, reliability, and maintainability in a fast-paced product loop.

đŸ€ Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the technical voice in product strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with design, content, and creator success teams to create delightful user experiences.
  • Break down business problems into executable tech and product plans.

🛠 Hands-On Execution

  • Own and deliver large systems and product features across mobile, backend, and infra as needed.
  • Deep dive into issues, scale bottlenecks, and architectural decisions.
  • Guide the team with both high-level strategy and low-level systems thinking.

📈 Metrics & Product Success

  • Define and track KPIs like retention, session time, creator NPS, etc.
  • Help build a culture of product ownership—shipping with purpose and measuring success rigorously.

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 6–10 years of product engineering experience, with 3+ years of tech/team leadership.
  • Strong experience in consumer mobile/web apps with scale.
  • Proficiency in at least a few of the following: Flutter, Dart, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python.
  • Hands-on experience with scalable systems, performance optimization, and product experimentation.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship instincts.
  • Deep product mindset—curious about user behavior and obsessed with delightful UX.

🌟 Bonus Points

  • Prior experience in a 0→1 or early-stage startup building consumer apps.
  • Exposure to content platforms, creator tools, or entertainment apps.
  • Understanding of growth loops, engagement mechanics, and monetization in consumer products.
  • You love visual storytelling or have a soft spot for comics, anime, or short dramas.
