About the Role

Join the core engineering team at SARAL, a company dedicated to building the influencer operating system that powers partnerships between e-commerce brands and creators. As a Frontend Engineer, you will work directly with the Head of Engineering and be responsible for developing features that customers use daily. This is a remote role within a lean team of 15, including 5 engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Build Best-in-Class Features: Collaborate with leadership to create a long-term technical vision for SARAL.
  • Own Foundational Features: Ship major features that have a significant impact on customers.
  • Pixel Perfect UI: Implement pixel-perfect UIs that match design mockups across devices and screen sizes.
  • Maintain, Review, Debug Code: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, review pull requests, and debug production issues.
  • Improve Performance and Reliability: Optimize older code to enhance performance and reliability for customers.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a frontend engineer role or equivalent at an early-stage SaaS company.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in React.js and modern component libraries/frameworks (e.g., ShadCN, TailwindCSS).
    • Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
    • Solid understanding of backend API design, consumption, and integration into frontend applications.
    • Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
    • Experience with debugging tools and performance optimization.
