About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our engineering team building revolutionary payment systems that handle critical daily transactions. You'll create scalable, robust solutions enabling seamless cross-border money movement.

Requirements

• Payment Experience: Track record building and delivering payment solutions in live production environments
• Strong Coding Skills: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient code for core payment systems
• Clean Code Discipline: Adhere to best practices and write code that remains robust and maintainable over time
• Server-side Proficiency: Comfortable with 1-2 modern server-side languages (Ruby is a strong plus)
• CI/CD Expertise: Thrive in continuous integration and deployment environments, including trunk-based development
• Ownership Mentality: Drive features from concept to deployment
• Problem-solving Mindset: Tackle challenges head-on to find effective solutions
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with product, design, and other teams
• Security Awareness: Prioritize the integrity and confidentiality of financial data
