Founder/CEO-track leadership role with B2C and B2B sales experience in crypto/hardware wallet space.
Founder/CEO-track leadership role with B2C and B2B sales experience in crypto/hardware wallet space.
About this role
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive revenue across B2C and B2B: Expand direct-to-consumer across geographies. Build an enterprise and institutional sales motion — custodians, family offices, crypto-native companies, DAOs. Both motions need to scale simultaneously.
Build distribution: Forge partnerships with exchanges, wallets, and Web3 protocols. Get Cypherock bundled, recommended, and co-marketed. Distribution is the moat.
Own P&L and fundraising: Manage business metrics end-to-end. Lead future fundraising rounds. Know your unit economics cold.
Shape product strategy: Work with the tech team to prioritize what gets built. Understand the hardware and software stack well enough to make tradeoff decisions — not just relay feedback.
Build the team: Hire and retain exceptional people. Keep decision-making fast and bureaucracy non-existent.
Be the face of Cypherock: At conferences, with press, in community. The crypto space rewards authentic, opinionated voices. Have one.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You've founded something — a company, a product, a meaningful project that got real traction. You know what it feels like to build from nothing. That instinct doesn't leave you.
- You're technical enough to earn respect from engineers. You don't need to write production code, but you need to understand cryptographic concepts, embedded systems tradeoffs, and why hardware security certifications matter.
- You've sold to both consumers and businesses — and you know how different the two motions are. You have scar tissue from both.
- You obsess over the product. Not as a manager who 'owns the roadmap' — but as someone who uses it, breaks it, and argues about it at 11pm.
- You have a point of view on crypto, self-custody, and where hardware wallets fit in the next 5 years. Confident. Informed. Willing to be wrong.
- You know how to build community and brand in a technical market. Crypto users trust people, not logos.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity, lean teams, and making fast decisions with imperfect information.
- You've operated across markets — ideally India plus one or more international markets (US, EU, Southeast Asia).
WHAT WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR
- Someone climbing the corporate ladder who wants CEO as the next rung. This is not that.
- A 'strategic' CEO who delegates the hard stuff and shows up for board meetings. We're too early for that.
- Someone who is 'interested in crypto' but has never seriously thought about key management or self-custody.
- A manager who sees themselves as above the work. Here, the CEO ships things.
