Position: Frontend Engineer
Reports to: Head of Engineering
Stage: Lean team of 15 total, 5 engineers
Location: Remote
Compensation: Rs. 15 LPA to Rs. 20 LPA (flexible for the right candidate)
As a Frontend Engineer at SARAL, you will be part of the core engineering team dedicated to building an influencer operating system that powers partnerships between e-commerce brands and creators. You will work directly with the Head of Engineering and have the opportunity to develop features that customers use daily.
Responsibilities
Own Foundational Features: Responsible for shipping major features that impact customers, contributing individually and collaboratively to reliably deliver full features.
Pixel Perfect UI: Implement pixel-perfect UIs that match design mockups across various devices and screen sizes.
Maintain, Review, Debug Code: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices. Review pull requests to ensure code quality and debug production issues.
Improve Performance and Reliability: Optimize older code to enhance performance and reliability for customers.
Requirements
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a frontend engineer role (or equivalent) at an early-stage SaaS company.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in React.js and modern component libraries/frameworks (e.g., ShadCN, TailwindCSS), along with expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
API Integration: Solid understanding of how backend APIs are designed, consumed, and integrated into frontend applications.
Design Principles: Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles, along with experience using debugging tools and browser developer tools.
