Frontend Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a frontend engineer with strong fundamentals to work on our canvas-based rendering and graphics systems. This is a hands-on IC role focused on building performant, visually rich web experiences.

What We’re Looking For

Must Haves

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
• Deep React expertise
• Solid understanding of browser rendering and performance optimization
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Ownership mindset - skill matters more than seniority

Nice to Have

• Experience with Canvas API and/or WebGL
• WebGPU experience
• WASM experience (C++/Rust compiled to WebAssembly)
• Shaders and graphics programming
• Animation and transition systems
• Experience with creative/visual tools

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize canvas-based rendering systems
• Work on graphics pipelines and visual effects
• Improve performance for complex visual interactions
• Collaborate closely with the product team on creative tooling
