The Role

We’re hiring a Junior Software Engineer to help build new features across the Bild platform. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ship product using ReactJS and NodeJS, with real ownership over the features you implement.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features in the Bild platform using ReactJS and NodeJS
• Gather and incorporate feedback from teammates and stakeholders
• Collaborate with other developers and designers to improve usability
• Perform end-to-end testing to deliver a reliable product
• Stay up-to-date on emerging front-end technologies
• Play a key role in shaping the future of Bild

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and making decisions without all the answers in front of you
• Comfortable defining success metrics and making data-informed decisions

Nice to Have

• Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, SCSS, and Redux
• Experience with browser testing and automated/end-to-end testing
• Experience in B2B products, and productivity/communication tools
